For over 5 years we have been living as a fulltime adventure family, giving talks, writing books and going on adventures. Including 7300 km from Copenhagen to Istanbul by kayak, cycled through Australia, canoed across Alaska and just finished swimming around Denmark.

Illustrated talks

I love to hold illustrated talks and have done so in different countries around Europe. With pictures, small video clips and lots of good stories, I’ll take you on great adventures around the world and give you a unique experience.

I was 100% right to save you to the end – yours was the only talk of the evening that brought a tear to my eye. What an amazing Dad you are. I hope that you could tell from the audience reaction, the laughter, the long applause, just what a brilliant job you did.

We have, each summer, managed a camp ground in Sakskøbing, Denmark, which was also a working place for disabled people. During the winters we had five months off, giving us time to go on our adventures.

The campsite was closed in 2013 and we had to find a new way of living. Traveling has always been a big part of our lives, so why not make it a full time job? That is exactly what we did with our expedition Life is GOOD follow us from Copenhagen to Istanbul in two kayaks. Find our book here
