USA in a camper
We had almost five months to make the round trip:
Chicago – Memphis – New Orleans – Houston – Los Angeles – Las Vegas – San Francisco – Denver – Chicago
We were a little skeptical about USA, and didn’t know much about the country, besides the news from over there. The trip changed our thoughts about some prejudices and confirmed others, but we had an amazing trip. We can recommend going, and especially traveling in a camper with kids, it is great.
Here are a few pictures from the trip:
We saw fantastic lights in Slot Canyons.
Mesa Arch, very famous place in USA
Canyonlands National park, this place we felt in love with. Have been there three times all together.
Colorado National park, by night.
Dead horse point, near by Canyonlands NP.
Lars family went to visit us, here in front of Grand Canyon
Las Vegas, a city that has to be experienced
Suzis mum and dad also came to visit us. Here we walk on in LA, on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame
On sea elephant hunt
The camper that we drove for the five months we were there.
Tiuri skiing for the first time, just turned three years old.
Glen Canyon National park.
Golden Gate Bridge, in San Francisco
30 cm. snow in one night turn desert in the Winter Wonderland.
We drove part of the ¨The Lonliest Road¨, really cool experience.
The landscape chance a lot, but we also drove around 16.000 km.
The view doesn’t get much better.
Yosemite National Park, a great place.
