The Nuru Model is designed to be the first self-sustaining, self-scaling, integrated development model to end extreme poverty in remote, rural areas, in our lifetime.

That’s a mouthful, and an incredibly daunting goal. We’ve experimented with dozens of poverty fighting interventions over the years – many of which have failed – but along the way we’ve made some game-changing philosophical and methodological discoveries that may have larger implications for the global fight on extreme poverty.
